Important Information

A full consultation or skin analysis will be completed during your first appointment enabling us to recommend the most suitable treatment that cares for your individual needs.

A short consultation is then held at the start of future appointments to ensure your needs are always being met.

Please be aware that some medical conditions make treatment unsuitable. Massage and Holistic Therapies can be very effective when used alongside other treatments or medicines, in some cases though, you will be required to consult your doctor before I can begin any treatment. If in doubt please speak to me before your appointment.

I am not a doctor and therefore not medically qualified to diagnose.

If at any time I feel a treatment is not appropriate I will not treat. And if I find anything that concerns me during the treatment I will stop and advise you to seek the opinion of a doctor.

What happens during my first appointment?

Your first consultaion is usually between 5 -15 minutes depending on the reason for your treatment and the complexity of your medical history.

The consultation is held during your treatment time.

I will explain the treatment and address any questions you have.

 

What does a client wear?

This depends on the treatment. If the treatment requires items of clothing to be removed the client will always be covered by a towel.

Full body or leg massages with oil:  Underwear or shorts.

Remedial or Deep Tissue Massage can be carried out without oil if you wish to remain clothed.

Back/neck/shoulders and Facials: Clothing on your bottom half may remain on if comfortable to lie in.

Indian Head Massage: You can remain fully clothed if you choose.

We now offer an appointment reminder service, by text or email up to 48 hours prior to your appointment.

If you have given us your email address we will add you to our mailing list to keep you up to date with information about Holistic Hideaway and the services we provide.

Please let us know if you wish to opt out of any of these services and we will remove you from our list. We assure you that we will never share your details with third parties.

 

Cancellation Policy Expand

Failure to attend your scheduled appointment time, a time allocated solely for your treatment, hinders our ability to provide the best service for our other clients.

Please be on time for your appointment. We always leave space between clients and will try to give you your full treatment time, sadly sometimes this is not possible if you are running very late. The full allotted treatment time will still be charged.
If I am running late, you will always get your full treatment. If for any reason you are unable to stay for the duration of this I will either adjust the treatment price accordingly or add the lost time to your next appointment.

We ask that you show us and our other clients courtesy by calling at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if you are unable to attend. Please act with consideration to others who require an appointment at that time but are then unable to book in that slot.

Failure to give 24 HOURS NOTICE of cancellation or to reschedule will result in a FULL charge for that appointment to cover the loss of earnings for that time.

If you need to move your appointment (up to 24 hours prior), we are more than happy to rearrange this for you, although we cannot guarantee that your preferred time/day will be available.

If you fail to attend your appointment without any notice you will only be re-booked on payment of the missed appointment charge plus advance payment for your next booking.

We greatly appreciate your support and understanding of our policy and value any questions you have.
